Stellar Steller

The little Steller's Jays are so darned cute...and loud. I'm always amazed at how bright their feathers are, especially on their foreheads. They also have little whiskers that poke out on the sides of their beaks (so do the crows). This little guy is going in to the frame today. It's amazing how much I can get done when I have a deadline!

Thank you! The Stellars are nesting in the cedar tree next to my driveway, and spending a lot of time in the yard, so I have a bunch of new reference material. I just love them.
